Tamia Booker is a Founding Partner at Apollo Messaging & Media and a veteran political strategist with nearly two decades of experience advising national leaders and building powerful coalitions. She has worked on dozens of campaigns nationwide, providing senior-level leadership on competitive races at the local, state, federal, and presidential levels.
Tamia's career includes serving as Deputy Chief of Staff to Senator Cory Booker and as National Political Director for his presidential campaign. Appointed by President Barack Obama, she was the Associate Director of External Affairs at the Department of Health and Human Services. Tamia also held key roles as the National African American Outreach Director for Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign and as a Senior Advisor on President Biden's Inaugural Committee.
As a consultant, Tamia has earned a national reputation for organizing and advancing solutions across politics, policy, and philanthropy. Her work has been recognized with the NAACP "Unsung Hero Award" and the National Action Network's "Women Who Are Called to Action Award." A proud graduate of FAMU, an HBCU, Tamia is based in Washington, D.C.
