KEVIN HARRIS

Kevin Harris is a Founding Partner at Apollo Messaging & Media with extensive experience spanning the public, private, and nonprofit sectors. He has consulted or staffed on more than 100 political campaigns, including the past five presidential elections, and served as a national spokesperson for the DNC. Kevin is a political commentator with insights that have appeared in more than 50 publications.

Kevin previously served as Executive Director of the Congressional Black Caucus and as Director of Communications and Policy to former Congresswoman Karen Bass. During the Obama Administration, he held key policy and communications roles at the Department of Housing and Urban Development, the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative, the Peace Corps, and the White House. In local government, he was a cabinet member for two big city mayors and senior adviser to a State Attorney.

Kevin earned a B.A. from Howard University and an M.A. in Government from Johns Hopkins University.
