DON WEIGEL

Don Weigel is a Founding Partner & CEO at Apollo Messaging & Media, bringing over two decades of experience managing political and non-profit campaigns nationwide. He has held leadership roles at every level — local, state, and national — serving as press secretary, communications director, grassroots organizer, campaign manager, and chief strategist for advocacy and political efforts spanning more than ten states.

Don's career includes work at The Rockefeller Foundation and tours at SKDKnickerbocker, BerlinRosen, Trippi Norton Rossmeisl, and Chadderdon/Lestingi Creative Services. He also served as Executive Director for both the Colorado House Caucus and the Georgia House Caucus, shaping legislative and campaign strategies.

As Director of Paid Media for Mike Bloomberg's 2020 presidential campaign, Don managed the creation and distribution of over 30 television ads and 100 digital ads, demonstrating expertise in high-stakes media environments.

Originally from Buffalo, NY, Don is a diehard Bills fan and a chicken wing aficionado.
