DEXTER STRONG

Dexter is a North Alabama–based political strategist, communications consultant, and faith leader, recognized as one of Huntsville's Top 40 Under 40. He is the immediate past Political Director for the Alabama Democratic Party. Dexter most recently served as a Government and Public Services Consultant at Deloitte, advising large federal departments on communications and stakeholder strategy during periods of organizational transition.

A veteran of Southern electoral politics, he has advised campaigns and racial-justice initiatives at the local and state levels and served as a national communications trainer for the Democratic National Committee, earning an "Addy" for "Best Political Ad" during the 2020 election cycle.

An accomplished writer, Dexter has been published in the Mail & Guardian, among other outlets.
